Tom Hingston is an established creative director and graphic designer, based in London.
Renowned for his innovative and highly thoughtful approach to art direction and design, his work spans print, digital, moving image and experiential. Tom Hingston Studio, his design company, has won numerous awards, particularly for its work in music. Hingston has collaborated extensively with some of the world's most well-known artists, including Grace Jones, Nick Cave, The Chemical Brothers, The Rolling Stones, U2, Sade, Robbie Williams and Massive Attack.
Following his early acclaim in music, Hingston has subsequently been appointed as Art Director for numerous fashion brands including Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Lancome. Further campaigns and collaborations in fashion have included work with Nike, Harvey Nichols, Pepe, Dior Parfums, Mandarina Duck, Levis and jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge.
A natural shift into moving image, over the last five years, has led to a number of film title collaborations with directors including Joe Wright; Pride & Prejudice, Atonement and 2012's Anna Karenina; Anton Corbijn for Control and the forthcoming 'A Wanted Man' and then experiential projects, which have included in-store content for Nokia and event visuals for Wallpaper magazine.
