Tom Savage - Brand Identity

  • Max Crame
Tom Savage is a roofer in Oxfordshire at the start of a new business venture in the roofing industry. Having been a roofer and a tradesmen for a number of years, he was finally ready to make a go of it on his own.
Tom was in need of a new look for his business, but being new to the world of graphic identity, he didn’t know quite what he wanted - other than something that was ‘modern and dynamic’ that would set him apart from the competition - “I need a logo that looks on point!” So, armed with only that brief and a screen shot of a very questionable vista print logo, I set to work creating a simple identity for Tom that he could be proud of, but could also implement easily.
The final result was a simple kit of parts for a bold, stand-out identity that gave Tom the tools he needed to implement a new look for his business in the way that he wanted to. The logo mark is a strong and modern symbol, that combines both of Tom’s services, as well as becoming a badge that can be worn with pride, and a recognisable sign of reliability, great service and a job well done. This is backed up with a bold word mark and a dynamic colour scheme that is modern and eye catching but still hails from the colours of Tom’s trade.
