Travel App
This is a project that came from my girlfriend. Last year we took a trip to New York and we didn’t want to miss a thing. We used to develop an itinerary on papper with the places to see, the places to eat, the activities… An itinerary with our entire trip.
One day, we were talking about the things we will miss because New York is too big and it’s not just New York. And she said, «Imagine that we are close to something and we don’t know it. It would be great an application that notifies you if you are close enough to the things you are interested in.»
I thought it was a very good idea, and if I could merge that idea with the idea of having our trip on our phone, it would be an amazing app.
So I started designing the interface. Nice and clean, with big images to inspire and different features that can be customized.
One of the features is that you can choose to see the existing itineraries, filtered by days and destination or create your own itinerary from scratch. In adittion, you can create notifications to visit places when you are close enough editing the distance range.
The app also brings information about the places you search or the restaurants you want to add to your day-intinerary.
