An experimental project, on turning emotions into emotionally charged books. After a long research on emotions and collecting the material needed through several interviews with people willing to participate in the project, I designed a book for the four following emotions.
Fear
The book of Fear takes the reader through many different cases that one is afraid of something. It presents the emotion of Fear, revealing its characteristics, inspired by many sources, from Darwin to contemporary art and poetry.
Anger
The book of Anger presents some cases that may turn one angry at something. Many of the cases might be not generally applied, but all are real and can sure be of interest. The reader sees the characteristics of Anger, as presented by several sources.
Anticipation
The book of Anticipation presents the emotion through a piece of paper that is constantly getting longer. With many elements repeating and others hiding a bit of something, it causes the need of fulfillment to the reader, while displaying the several aspects of the emotion.
Surprise
The book of Surprise is a little different from the other three. The text used is much less than in the other books and the emotion is being described directly,
with the reader living it. While going through the book, one comes across different materials, formats and puzzles, that he must change in order to feel the surprise. It is based mostly on the element of the bizarre and the unexpected.
