True North Brew Co

As a member of the design team, I took an active role in creating a new, creative and competitive brand for this renowned Sheffield company.

In order to help establish a more welcoming and appealing brand image, leading up the rebrand, I proposed working with local artists for limited edition can releases, designing a label that had a large canvas for featured artwork.
Taking inspiration from the surrounding Peak District; the source of the water vital to the brewing and distilling arms of the business, I used my own photography, and combined them with bold, textured watercolours to create a more vibrant, intriguing brand.
The branding also featured recognisable parts of Sheffield's landscape, to resonate with local consumers. The bold colours and abstraction helped the designs to stand out on any visually busy bar.
A similar aesthetic was applied to the company's gin label designs and POS material, making them more identifiably produce of one company; previously, the design for each branch was fairly disparate.
Similarly, the branding was applied to all assets of the company, including Reward Cards for loyal customers.
