A competition entry for The Irish Times to complete a book cover for Joyce's Ulysses to celebrate Blooms Day. The competition when published had a three day deadline. My idea was to focus the cover once more on Leopold Bloom so he is shown in silhouette with the first paragraph of text from both the book itself and Homer's Odyssey (which the book was modelled on) surrounding him.
