Inspired by paint workers renewing wall paint, leaving the old layers of paint underneath the new ones, this idea stresses that although we are embracing lives full of new adventures, we should never forget about the past.
Setting the natural peel of old paint as a starting point, I seek for proper material to reflect the real effect. I hand crafted a series of graffiti related textile processes using techniques such as applique, bonding materials, fabric painting and free embroidery and finally came to the magical matching of free embroidery and leather applique.
Based on a series of workwear silhouettes, this collection has taken consideration into the roughness and toughness of heavy duty workwear along with good quality and nicely finished details.
