Tasked with inspiring Unilever’s marketers and agency partners to look at their brands differently, we devised, curated and produced Reform: an exhibition which launched during Cannes Lions 2013. To demonstrate the creative potential within Unilever’s iconic brands we commissioned eight internationally celebrated artists and designers to consider their own relation to these everyday products and transform them into provocative new objects. The final works included a witty pair of Hellmann’s Dumbbells by Lernert & Sander, a modular Pot Noodle table by Nick Blakeman and Esther Robinson and an ingenious Domestos drawing machine by La Bolleur. For the exhibition we teamed with Michael Marriot to create plinths, platforms and signage from a limited materials palette of yellow buckets and OSB board. The exhibition was communicated both in print and online; the website design and build by Hover Studio, still life images by BBDE and event photography by Tom Cockram.
