A project that coincided with the photographic print ''The Sword, the Treasure, the Wand and the Pirate', was my untitled sculptural work.

I used the process of crystallizing sugar to grow crystals on plastic toys.

This work is playful, I wanted the objects to feel 'activated' through my manipulation, the work really became tiny visions of my inner world inside my head.

As I looked at 'Actor Network Theory' in my dissertation, my interest was for my collected objects to metaphorically act and become playful, in their own autonomous way. To the point where the human was an invisible presence and the objects were the active residing presence in the space.

This work became my Degree installation, however the photographs throughout the process of playing with the objects and moving them around, photographing them was integral. I realized that the mini settings., the mini narratives, that I would create for my exhibition would have to be free-form on the day. I would create the finished exhibition on the day, creating these works completely free form from my collected objects.
