This is a project called 'Design for Future' which focus on what I am interested. I want to be a silversmith in my career path, so I decided to make some containers that mean something.
The more I research the more I have found, it’s let me forget how people at the very beginning drinking without container. People use hands as a container to hold water and drink it. This idea inspires me that people don’t need a handle, as hands is the most natural handle. As I was trying hard on raising a vessel, I found the edge of the copper is similar to the waves and water, it’s help me to extend my idea, my work doesn’t need to be beautiful, but meaningful.
