Vacant Bass by Isaac Tomiczek

  • Emily Chappell

A short film on the significance of clubbing culture to black communities in the wake of Corna Virus. The pandemic has left many party venues vacant putting a halt to club culture and all the music, dancing, and unity that comes with it. The film shares clubbing memories, the black experience of clubbing, and thoughts on the industry bringing light to its importance.

The Producer, I managed stakeholders, hired talent, sourced cast (who voice over the video), and organised venue visits over the two-day shoot as well as assisted post-production in collaboration with the director Isaac Tomiczek.
