Valadares

This book is a commemoration exercise of Portuguese Pottery Identity and Memory, with particular appreciation of the work carried out by Fábrica Cerâmica de Valadares throughout over nine decades. The purpose of its writing was to perpetuate the company’s legacy by the voice of the ones who belonged to and helped build the Valadares empire, and it’s dedicated to all who understand the nacional worth and significance this factory had. The book is intended to provide an extensive and detailed history of the different periods which defined its activity, as well as deconstruct the production and packing process.
