I was commissioned by Valdemar Media to rebrand it and to tune it towards the brand new age.

Valdemar Media is a media production, distribution and financing company focused on independent movies, tv shows, and limited series. Valdemar is always looking for new interesting projects and to give the opportunity to daring projects to see the light of day, trying to take a chance on directors, writers, actors, who are looking for their moment to shine.


While Valdemar Media is entering a new phase readjusting the core values and message and fully understand where it stands in the market. Going back to where it comes from, its history, at the same time it needs to visually represent the values, spirit, and message.


Valdemar Media is proud to be independent, bold, entrepreneurial and daring, and has a story to tell. It is a heritage of Vikings and Kings, highlighted by its name, that gives the brand a background of royalty, courage and a warrior soul, never giving up, translated by the use of a crest or coat of arms and also the red color.

The Bear represents the three places that gave Valdemar Media its expertise: Madrid, Berlin, and California which are all represented by a Bear.


Bernardo, the managing partner, through Valdemar Media and his exploring and daring attitude, is making a name in the production, financing and distribution business but there is more to it, there are other dreams to chase, giving to the brand a "where there is a will, there a way" and "let's make dreams come true" spirit and the intent to make people dream and believe in the magic of cinema, represented mainly by the color purple and elements in the crest or coat of arms such as the Inguz and the Awe symbol of the Nordic European Countries where its heritage comes from.


With all of these elements, Valdemar Media brand is easily recognized as an explorer and magician archetype, believing and never quitting, always chasing for more.
