Veins is a lighting system designed for indoors. The project is the result of a 1 week workshop project led by Ilkka Suppanen for the finnish lighting manufacturer SAAS Instruments
At the basis of the design of Veins there has been the will to bring inside a generic artificial space something which resembled and referred to external natural elements.
The kind of light we set out to design had to warm up the space and help the users to reach a state of calmness and relaxation
Prototyping Process
The lighting system is made of 3 modules that can be joined in different combinations, as the user pleases, in order to create its own design.
