Verante: Coffee brand

Colombian artisan coffee: visual identity system for packaging

A group of independent coffee roasters, dispersed throughout the Colombian territory decided to create a brand that would unite them under the same purpose. They wanted to welcome and highlight the diversity of artisan coffee produced in every corner of the country, highlighting the variety of the places where it is produced, expressing the joy, simplicity and humility of working with coffee. They wanted their audience to feel a sense of belonging for the regions that produced coffee by seeing them represented and united. We ventured and developed a strategy centered on the brand and the closest points of contact, in this case the people, the product and the packaging as experiences. We worked on the Branding process accompanied by a parallel process of strategic Art Direction focused on identity, and we found the need to establish meeting points and particularities within the brand idea that could be exploited in the packaging. In the research we found several points and we found that there was a common and visual factor that unites the different farms and it is their parallel production between banana and coffee harvests. This allowed us to generate an idea for the visual identity of the brand among others.

Packaging Concept
Windows of colombia

We find in the architecture of the Colombian coffee landscape the diversity and equality that unites them, assuming that these environments can interact poetically and differently with the coffee experience. We decided to take inspiration from the Windows and balconies characteristic of the houses of the different locations of the four regions investigated
