VERTEBRIS is an enhanced value wheelchair project. My goal ? Improving the wheelchair and its visual aspect in order to give it a new image and personality. This project aims to avoid standard clichés. VERTEBRIS is in the service of the handicap and the user’s dignity.
The wheelchair structure is inspired by the spine. A central aluminium profile supports all the components of the wheelchair (wheels, seat...). Imitation of the spine seems to transform the wheelchair into an extension of the body.
