Verve Editor

  • Molly Arnold
Verve is the London Metropolitan University student magazine. I took over as editor at the beginning of my third year at university. I completely scrapped the old style of Verve and started from fresh, giving it a breath of fresh air.

I worked with the designer to create a new magazine layout. One which would fit with the university colours, one which would be enjoyed by a young audience and a style that would grab the attention of a passer by. I also scrapped all previous article ideas as I believed the magazine should represent both Holloway and Aldgate (the two campuses) more.

I managed a team of writers, worked closely with the SU and spent over 100 hours working on Verve.

I won Verve Volunteer of The Year award in April 2016.
