Vichy Catalan is a company of carbonated water based in Barcelona. Traditionally, Vichy had been always served in a glass bottle.
After more than 170 years, the brand wanted to launch its first can and use it as an excuse to rethink the graphic personality of Vichy.
TRENCADÍS - Brittle
Vichy has always been related to classic fine arts, and specially to the Catalan Modernism.
To create the design, we took the “Trencadís” technique, mostly used by Gaudí. We took the concept of destroying objects in order to remix them and create a new one. So, we destroyed the bottle, to create the can.
