I co-wrote this satirical comedy-drama film. The story follows an aspiring screenwriter and performer through an inadvertent, overnight rise to fame and his subsequent disillusionment with becoming a committed YouTube celebrity. As well as developing the narrative and plot, I also performed in the film so that I would have an on-set presence. This experience further nurtured me into the dynamics and procedures of a set. The film was produced in May 2014 and released in January 2015. Its release signalled something of a watershed in Queen Mary filmmaking, as the interest taken in it by the student community motivated the renewal of the universities dormant QMTV (which has since produced/released a great deal of content).
