Virgin Media Start Up Promo Campaign

AUB 24 hour live brief set by Virgin Media and their Start Up scheme. I worked in a small group to produce an interactive and fun idea to promote Virgin Start Up (an start up loan scheme that buddies you with a personal advisor to help start your first business). The bank of advice focusses on live events around the UK accompanied with promotional material. This live event featured 'pretend money' as propaganda to join the start up scheme, with a comical effect of Richard Branson's face on the front. A dispenser would shoot the bills out at people who walked past, giving them an incentive to pick it up. On the back of the note, a conventional and contemporary piece of informative design inviting the holder to an event only accessible with one of those tickets. This was a marketing strategy to get more people involved in events which people were not attending. Live events are a great way to attract people through interactivity. This idea was widely appreciated by Virgin UK and Europe, ending in our team becoming one of two finalists.
