MAASTRICHT IN THE SPOTLIGHT (2009-2017)
Part of my role at Maastricht Marketing was making sure the city of Maastricht got the attention it deserved. Through an innovative and unique PR strategy, I generated over €5m annually in media value from publications internationally (online, print, TV, radio etc.) for the city of Maastricht using a highly efficient PR approach despite a PR budget of only €7500.
I am renowned for my distinctive 'Quality vs Quantity' Strategy: a small amount of precisely targeted and personalised messages aimed at the right audience is much more effective. A specially handcrafted and handwritten travel notebook send to not more than 40 travel journalists and bloggers got the necessary attention AND publications. As well as the much celebrated old school 'View on Maastricht' view master I distributed amoung various journalists and bloggers.
