At The Table, the creative platform that explores and celebrates British food culture, will launchs a series of events called, Voices At The Table. At The Table is renowned for revealing the stories, ideas and people behind what we eat and drink, whether it’s through their annual print magazine, online editorial or events. The April 2017 launch of Voices At The Table celebrates a series of events that brings together the literary, food and performance worlds, showcasing an eclectic mix of established and up-and-coming voices. The collaborative series run by At The Table founder Miranda York, writer Rebecca May Johnson and poet Anna Sulan Masing, focuses on bringing people together from different industries and backgrounds, encouraging them to look at food from a fun and fresh perspective. The launch event on Tuesday 25 April saw performances and readings from Chef Jeremy Lee, food and drinks writer Kay Plunkett-Hogge, Observer Food Monthly Editor Allan Jenkins, performer Charles Adrian, writer and artist Megan Nolan, poet Edwina Attlee, cook and food writer Zoe Adjonyoh, and editor and writer Joanna Biggs reading Leonora Carrington.
