Waste Not, Want Not

Poster design for Do The Green Thing initiative. 'Waste Not, Want Not' alludes to the wastage of food and making the most of what you already have. As recent as 2013, some supermarket brands have reported wasting almost 30,000 tonnes of food. From this figure, one supermarket brand suggests that 41% of this food waste is from their bakery. The grains on the poster suggest that these are the seeds of waste and the numerous forks all the people who must be fed.
