WE ALL CAN'T BREATHE

A poem about George Floyd #RIP

We all can’t breathe, please let this stop,
Get off his neck, you no good cop,
You don’t represent, that badge for sure,
The cops I know, are decent and pure,
This feels more like, an attempt at war,
You don’t speak for us, this action we deplore!
You’ll not divide us, we know your game,
One day you’ll hang, your head in shame,
We don’t see a difference, we are as one,
So drop your petty, attitude and gun,
We’ll not resort, to your violent ways,
We’re more evolved, gone are those days,
Our brother George Floyd, We will not forget,
One step too far, surely even you regret,
We all can’t breathe, from your discrimination,
We are all one, across all nations,
As John Lennon Said, all we are asking,
Is give peace a chance, a real-world to bask in,
Dr. Martin Luther, King had a dream,
So many years later, it’s the same old theme,
We don’t accept, any persecution,
Substitute all, your racist institutions,
We only want, a proper resolution,
We are all together, & know a solution,
Equality means, Our world we are seeing,
Where rights are given, to each & every human being.
