Weaving Paterns

  • Talice Radeke
The Project unravels from the studies of the art of tapestry, handcrafted weaving and its history to conceptualize a study of pattern cutting.

After researching the techniques of the handmade art, practiced for more than 12.000 years, comes the challenge of developing pieces from whole moulds without detachable segments.

The warp is never interrupted. The work was based on incorporating new materials to act as weft, having both volume and texture weaved to the recurrent fabric.
