The client needed an ecommerce website that reflected the origins of their first nail varnish – flatte black – as well as the ‘art’ background of their whole product design. In 2009, I created graphics and flats for each page and a NYC-based developer programmed it. I also wrote a bit of the copy in conjunction with the client and their PR team. Arin LoPrete designed the logo. Karen O was photographed by Carter Smith and the illustration on the ‘About’ page was drawn by Jan Jasiu Krajewski. Most recently, in 2015, I designed a button to add to the home page promoting their latest range of Hedwig and the Angry Inch nail varnish.
