Wedding of Kate Foley and Max Osterweis

End-to-end production and creative direction of the three-day wedding of New York-based fashion consultant Kate Foley and Max Osterweis in West Sussex. I worked with a team of wonderful caterers, florists, and other suppliers to deliver an elegant and vibrant English country wedding.

A Friday night dinner in the beautiful walled garden of Kate's parents featured bare wooden tables covered in Murano glass vases of flowers, coloured glassware and fresh summer-inspired food provided by Tart London.

The following evening, guests met for cocktails in the walled garden at nearby West Dean Gardens through which the bride was led by a troop of musicians. Dinner took place under a canopy of globe lanterns at tables decorated simply with passion flower vines, brass candlesticks and coloured candles. Delicious sharing plates were again provided by Tart London, whilst cocktails were served by The Rum Runner from a bespoke bar covered in fragrant herbs. I worked with the wonderful Matilda Goad to surround the entrance to the sperry tent with an abundant display of cut flowers and plants.
Guests met for an informal picnic by the banks of the river running through West Dean Gardens the following day. Rugs, picnic hampers and baskets of flowers made this a quintessentially English occasion.
