Wedged Surface

This piece is my response to having furniture with forged features which can also be flat packed. The silicon bronze wedges can be removed to allow the top to be lifted off. The bars can then be slid out from below and it can all be packed. Due to the dimensions (1200x300x450mm) the piece is multi functional. Due to the 10mm plate on the top two people can sit on it comfortably as well as there being a flat surface for objects to be placed upon.
