what makes this place, this place

A zine inspired by the city and the people. The zine includes two articles written by Giovanna Fabiano and Ellie Violet Bramley which discusses the relationship between typefaces and cities. Parts of the city can be threatening to some, but this gives the city its character and shows that it contains a lot of history. This zine aims to show that city is more than just ‘pretty’ areas and buildings; it encourages people to appreciate the vernacular of the city. Different techniques were used on images, layouts and pull quotes to mimic the stickers pasted on signs or graffiti found on the streets.
