Initially these illustrations were inspired by construction site workers' high vis vests. I started with drawings based on photographs I'd taken throughout the last year. My focus then shifted to construction sites; order and chaos within these highly organised microcosms, placement composition of building materials, heavy machinery, colour coded inventory of cones, railings, scaffolding, tools and workers dotted about like Lego men and suggested narratives.
This is an ongoing B-sights project.
