The Artience Project is a Government supported foundation fostering the convergence of Art and Science, which has been run since 2011 by Daejeon Culture and Arts Foundation (DCAF). This project was aimed at creating five outcomes based in the theme of “The Future of Daejeon: products for the year 2100 AD" and was held in Daejeon, South Korea. The aim of The International Artience Workshop was to promote cultural and creative exchange between Korean scientists and international artists by engaging Korean teenagers in the process of research and design.

XMO is the ultimate futuristic exoskeleton accessory focused on detecting mental stability and emotional imbalance. At present suicide among young adults in South Korea has been stated as the third highest in the world. Therefore, the project is focused on providing a fashion accessory for the teens to help get out of depression and avoid suicide.

The Final outcome was in the form of two exhibitions in South Korea and London wherein the visitors were given an opportunity to look into the future of the usage of the products through comic books made by the South Korean Teenagers who were involved in the educational workshop organized by us.
