The brief asked us to inform the existing Royal Court Theatre audience of the journey that the writers and their plays go on, before they reach the stage.
Putting the Writer in the Spotlight
Rather than the putting the actors in the spotlight, it was time for the writers to take centre stage. I formed a poster campaign around this idea by visually representing a spotlight, highlighting each stage of the writer’s process.
