YCN Taylor's of Harrogate

This was a YCN brief to design a new way of drinking coffee for 16 - 25 Year olds. I quickly realised they are always on the go, whether they are students or starting a new career. I wanted to create something that would compromise this. So they can still have a decent cup of real coffee in the mornings without the added pressure or time.

I have created packaging that holds ground coffee in sachets of 1g enough for one cup and a filter. The sachets are small and convenient for young people who are constantly on the move, fitting into pockets, wallets and purses. Once the sachet is opened the filter would be removed and placed on top of a coffee mug, this is so there is no need for extra equipment. The ground coffee inside the sachet will then be poured into the filter, followed by hot water.

I wanted to highlight the origins of the coffee beans, as this is something that Taylor’s is proud of. So I have created four different flavours which originate from the country’s Taylor’s receives their coffee from, and a multi pack including all four.
