YOU
YOU is multi sensory signage system revealing the ‘Unspoken Protocol’ that commuters follow within the London Underground. This visual language was created to make young professionals aware and mindful of their subconscious behaviours in the non-stop World we live in today.
The word 'YOU' communicates a conscious behaviour, rather than an instruction. Each icon reveals a step through the commuter's journey and are displayed as flashing neon signs for a more interactive, striking and memorable signage system.
The behaviours were collected through ethnographic research studies, in one of the most populated yet anonymous environments - The London Underground. Playfulness and satire is used aiming to create a less hostile and sterile atmosphere within the underground tube stations.
