Young Women of Colour and Mental Health

Mixed media/ collage pieces, exploring mental health in young women of colour. Experimenting with shape and form; to convey feelings of complications, impulses, animosity and isolation. It is the endless journey of feelings, mixed and jumbled. It is impossible to comprehend and come to terms with the struggle of our mind and being a w o m a n of c o l o u r. However, may we may find ways to challenge yet find peace within our inner being? Finding self love and creating a new and wonderful perception of self.
