Dal Gene (Dal IX’s) subject is self. Her artwork is an exploration of self but as well thinking about ‘the other’ and space where they ‘meet’ objects.
She uses multimedia and mixed media, as well photography, photomontage, collage, bricolage and video when creating her artwork. Her artwork is an interplay of text and imagery and interrelationship of handmade and digital work. To reveal a concept of identity as something complex and in constant evolution she uses her own image and personal experiences.
