In the Kitchen- a cooking show looking at the recipes and methods used by parents to produce loving, homecooked food. The show explores different cultures and backgrounds around the UK, and how food cooked in the household shapes it. The format aims to show mums/dads/parental figures teaching their son/daughter how to cook a traditional homestyle meal from scratch, and once cooked, they’ll rate the food. Along the way, they’ll share stories and secrets, and may find things out about each other they never knew! The format is inspired by the combination of the family scrap-book and the family recipe-book.
