Devised an incentive scheme to associate BYOND, with established in-direct competition brands with similar aesthetics such as; Estee Lauder and Wheely to sponsor BYOND’s Launch event (some silent Partnership based on brands positioning), this was achieved through personal and professional contacts. A Narrative is the heart to anything intangible, I Co-curated the “narrative” of the launch, including media buzz and securing Hotel Café Royal as a Venue. With the help of my partner, I was able to source a new up-market French cider brand ( Maison Sassy), to sponsor the event. I realised the potential of seizing the opportunity to use BYOND’s launch as a gateway to carry unplanned market research on the Cider, as both brands target similar audiences. I was aware of the risk of conflict of interest, therefore briefed client prior to engaging on idea. I also Consulted the Director and Founder of BYOND - On it's Marketing and Sales strategy for it's UK market penetration.
Produced and Creative Directing AW14 & AW15 Look-Book and Campaign. As-well as Identifying new opportunities within B2C, which helped raised direct sales funds. Identified and targeted new creative channels to help cascade the brands message. Drafting and deploying Third-Party Marketing and sales distributional opportunities within Europe and Asia for 2015 sales Season. After Identifying KS strength being his personal clients- I worked with Kristian (The Designer) In developing plans based on current and future seasons on Direct Bespoke sales strategy to keep annual cash flow consistent and manageable.
As part of the 3-man Creative & Communication team, my day to day duties within DDM included: • Sourcing new Press & Sales opportunities for the brand • Establishing and improving contacts with target Menswear Press, Bloggers, opinion formers and celebrity stylists, to help drive sales amongst all designated territories (Europe & Asia). • Executing reports, power point presentations and contributing to press releases • Acting as an ambassador amongst all key target media at appropriate levels. • Contributing to the narrative for the next season’s collection, By Sourcing: Production, Design, Material and talent talent required to help achieve goal.
Partnered with Sara Wilson and various photographers within the industry such as Ash Kingston , Dan Sanders etc - to deliver all online brand imagery that accurately depict Seasonal Creative Direction according to New Look house standards. Work with On-line stylist Sara to interpret and implement runway trends for weekly National and International Visual Communication.
