About me
Having recently graduated with a degree in Event Management and Marketing, I am excited to build a career focused on delivering exceptional service within the events industry. I believe it is important to go above and beyond for the client in order to develop long lasting memories and relationships. Therefore, I would love to work with a company that places this concept at the heart of the business. Work history
    Assistant Event Coordinator

     Event Co-ordination – Completing administrative tasks by the set deadlines including CPD application, updates to the website and programme design. Communicating clearly with other departments such as Operations and AV to secure room bookings, catering and any AV requirements. Further, I manage the on the day event logistics and clear up and then collate comments and evaluation forms post event and present feedback at council meetings.  Marketing – Copywriting and liaising with the marketing department to create promotional materials such as posters and flyers. I also utilise our CRM database of past delegate information to create mailings and social media posts to send to the appropriate target audience.  Finance – I complete budgets for each meeting and present this to management to be approved. Working closely with the Sponsorship Officer, I maintain relationships with current sponsors and work hard to seek new sponsorship opportunities.  Event support – Pre-event I prepared on the day materials including name badges and delegate packs. Welcomed delegates at the event registration and answered any queries if the event co-ordinator is away from the desk.  Customer Service – I handled delegate queries via email and telephone using CRM software, ensuring that I upheld the company values by providing a professional level of customer service.  Stock maintenance – Checking stock levels of office equipment and event materials, communicating with external suppliers when necessary.  Finance – Liaising with finance department to raise invoices and chasing payments from external companies as well as processing payments and refunds from delegates.
