Cast talent across the industry for panels and Q&As for the Directors UK programme, delivering over 50 events per year. Speakers have included Steven Spielberg, Greta Gerwig, Ridley Scott and Barry Jenkins, for the benefit of Directors UK members.
Creative Director of the annual Directors’ Festival. I shaped content, managed logistics and worked with corporate partners by selling sponsorship. Sold over £10k in 2017 through a range of different support options, in addition to substantial in-kind support such as use of screening rooms and hospitality.
Executive Producer of 16 short films throughout development and production, as part of annual ALEXA Challenge short film competition, which used over £300k of equipment.
Represented the organisation at festivals, such as Cannes, LFF, Sheffield Doc/Fest and TIFF. Produced industry facing sessions and masterclasses to develop membership and further campaign objectives.
Wrote engaging web copy, sponsorship proposals and briefing documents for stakeholders.
Significant partnership work with commercial partners, developing relationships with publicists and distributors such as NBC Universal, Warner Bros, Fox, Altitude and Studio Canal.
Launched the annual Creative Partnerships Day, working with Film London and the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain.
Oversaw the Events and Member Services budget, producing quarterly board reports of departmental activity and spend.
Managed the Member Services Coordinator.
