Barcelona Metropolitan is a monthly lifestyle magazine offering advice on what to see and do in Barcelona. • Researched and wrote features for the print and online editions of the magazine • Interviewed celebrities, performers and local residents for colour pieces • Organised and supervised photo-shoots • Uploaded the latest events and images to the magazine’s website every morning
During my MA at City University London, I carried out an internship at Vogue magazine. • Helped organise photo-shoots for the annual Vogue Festival (www.vogue.co.uk/event/vogue-festival) • Liaised with international fashion designers and PR agencies • Wrote a mini guide to starting University for the Miss Vogue blog • Trained new interns
Access London is Keatons estate agents’ magazine, which is distributed widely throughout London. The publication focuses on the company’s local areas, as well as the wider property market. • Oversaw the company’s social media • Helped to create and launch Keatons’ new website • Interviewed business experts about the property market • Wrote features about local businesses within East and North West London • Wrote monthly e-newsletters for each of the company’s six offices (I continued to do this on a freelance basis whilst in Barcelona)
