I have recently completed a degree in photography at University of Suffolk. I am an enthusiastic hard working people person with a passion for photography. My strengths lie within verbally communicating with people. Through my work as a Student Ambassador giving tours of the campus and running workshops and open days with the general public and schools I have become very confident in liaising with the public and children. As I was often left to manage these tours and workshops I have learnt to work under minimal supervision and in pressured situations.
My ambition is to work in the curation of images, as a picture editor for a publication or within a gallery or related environment, closely engaging with the public and working to produce exhibitions and curate images to produce an end result, whether that be within an exhibition or publication. My hope is to, within the next few years, complete a Masters in Curating and develop my career in the gallery and curating industry.
In addition to this I plan to continue pursuing my artistic career as a photographer and raise my artistic profile in the photographic field. My recent project Despite All The Land Left Free is a photo book that I am currently looking into self publishing.

- Despite All The Land Left Free Despite All The Land Left Free taken from the poem Going Going by Phillip Larkin. This photographic project explores our engagement with the landscape. Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent, and the surrounding area, is currently in a state of development and progress. As a resident of the surrounding area and having grown up in this landscape, these images present a photographic response to this transient environment. The images capture immersive details of the land and present an emotional and physical engagement with the landscape in a time where we have never been more capable of easily accessing, yet at the same time, being completely isolated from our physical environment.

As a part of my final year at university, myself and my cohort of 15 were required to host three exhibitions of our photographic work. This involved curating, advertising, marketing, fundraising and managing the funding of the exhibitions. The exhibitions were held in; December 2016 at the Whistler Gallery in Ipswich, Suffolk. June 2017 at the Waterfront Building of University of Suffolk and finally in June 2017 at 5th Base Gallery in London.
