'The Ravensbourne Degree Show 2018' was a three day event that showcases a new generation of creative talent from Ravensbourne's Undergraduate and FE courses. My tasks included: - Organise and plan the event to launch the college as a university - Recruiting students from across the university to work on the show. - Liasing with deans, tutors and sponsors to assure briefs and demands are met to required standard. - Organising budgets - Representing student team to staff within meetings
'The Royal Shakespeare Company' produced productions of Shakespeare plays that were broadcast to schools across the UK. Between each act of the production, presenter Ayo Akinwolere would talk about the play and speak to interviewees for the schoolchildren to watch. During this production of 'Twelfth Night' I did the following: - Cable bash for live studio cameras - Ensure radio microphones were worn by each relevant person and working - Fix and arrange the set - Ensure members of the cast's needs were met - Maintain a positive environment in the studio As the BTS Video Director for 'Romeo & Juliet' I was tasked with the challenge of creating BTS footage that was to be used for a presentation at AWS. This included: - Planning and directing shots of behind the scenes footage to be met by set brief, ensuring brand names and demos were included - Interview members of staff, students and the RSC crew
'Gearhouse Broadcast' provide the broadcast technology needed for the annual ATP Tennis Tournament. I created video edits of the BTS footage and interviews of the 2017 team to be used on the 'Gearhouse Broadcast' social media channels/website.
My work at Diva Dirt consisted of: - Planning, producing and editing programmes for the newly rebranded YouTube channel - Writing news reports on the world of women's wrestling - Creating graphics for the site's social media pages - Posting engaging content (such as GIFs, graphics and sharable debates) on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
I have been able to produce, direct, edit, camera operate, floor manage/assist, direct lighting, cast and research for multiple productions. This includes studio shows, live and interactive programmes, documentaries, music videos and scripted drama series.
