I’m driven by the desire to make sense of brand stories. When exploring a new brief, the challenge I enjoy is to extract a brand’s needs and use it as fuel to create a cohesive and convincing creative execution. Innovation and collaboration are the core drivers in my work. As a creative, I seek to inspire and engage people. In my view, that’s best achieved by working together to arrive at well-interpreted ideas with a visual impact, on useful applications.
At Matter Innovation at CHI & Partners, I was the brand guardian of VUSE Digital Vapor Cigarette by R.J. Reynolds. In collaboration with the team I worked on every VUSE touch point, above and below the line; from product innovation, design and packaging to how the consumer engages and purchases the products in a retail environment.
My professional dance training provides me the unique opportunity to unite my design skills and my theatrical experience. Latest collaboration was for Or Who Owns the World (Oder Wem Gehört Die Welt) dancetheatre production by Stranger in company Productions in Basel, Switzerland.
As a freelance designer at agencies among which Karmarama, Cake, Story, The Brand Union, Sectorlight, Straightedge, Glock and Mediacom, I worked on briefs for brands such as Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose, Elemis, Burt’s Bees, Sony, BT, Hermes Fund Managers, Unilever, Arthritis Research UK, Walkers and Mercedes Benz.
At Glock design agency, I designed BACARDI Global Travel Retail Brand Advocacy Guide and Brand Portfolio 2012, print and digital, as well as several brand communication toolkits along with associated print collateral and digital assets for Bombay Sapphire EAST, Grey Goose and Grey Goose PUNCH.
In my time at the acclaimed creative studio Designers United, I designed the Volvo Ocean Race Official Guidelines & Communications Toolkit, as well as a large number of print, digital and display/installation collaterals for the global event. Other work there included design for print and digital for brands, businesses and organisations in the private and public sector.
Soon after I moved to London in 2002, I worked as a designer for print, digital, as well as for installations and TV advertising productions among which Heineken, Walkers, Crown Royal Whiskey, O2 and Sony.
For dFLOOR magazine I art directed the monthly issues of exclusive interviews from international Djs, electronic music reviews, events, fashion and lifestyle. I also did the creative for some of the advertised brands such as Influx, Kidrobot and Agent Provocateur. Liaising with the team, production and external collaborators were included in my responsibilities.
As a client-facing designer at Visual Options design studio, I produced creative print and digital solutions from concept to completion, for clients from the public and private sectors in Greece and abroad. There I also developed skills in motion graphics, web design/development (HTML/CSS, Flash) and produced acclaimed work.
I started as a graphic designer at my father’s business in retail packaging. During that time, I developed mock-up, artwork skills and an interest in materials, processes and production.
