About me
25 years in creative digital space. Government and major corporate clients with London agency Domarn Group. Fonts design with Linotype, London. /WEB /SEO, SOCIAL /DESIGN /PHOTOGRAPHY /RESEARCH ADAM BARNES is a creative agency. We create work people care about across all channels. These days it’s easy for people to avoid things that don’t matter to them. Creating work that people care about has never been more important. Whether it’s brands, websites, ads or images, we strive to produce distinctive, engaging touch points that people want to interact with. Why do we take more notice of something when it challenges our views and sharply contrasts with our expectations? Perhaps it’s because a different perspective can turn a conventional idea into something more powerful. Something extraordinary. This is the choice. To deliver what people expect or present them with something they never would have expected. The challenge is to create great ideas and craft them to evoke an emotional response. Ideas wrapped in intelligence and wit to engage with and stir the audience. You don’t do better until you do different. And creating difference is what we do best.

ROYAL PARKSTo Design front-end graphic design of the site using a responsive grid-based system Designing the UX/UI (user experience and user interface) for all the Royal Parks sites, liaising with their internal digital team to produce a clean site, for desktop and mobile, all done in photoshop in a moderfide bootstrap style, Bootstrap was chosen as it’s the most popular HTML, CSS, and JS framework for developing responsive, mobile projects on the web. The brief was a complete refresh of all their sites, bringing in modern Internet technologies such as responsive grids, bootstrap, TTML5, GPS Google maps and hidden content on slow bandwidth devices. Content page templates: Landing page template for each park The Royal Parks homepage design latest news upcoming events blog posts promotion of The Royal Parks Foundation contact details park features – e.g. cafes restaurants, gardens or sporting activities. use of Google maps for navigation/location E-newsletter template Mobile Web app (version of there full site, with button to full site) Smallest to start from 320/480 pixels wide, this should have an almost app feel, for ease of use and usability, with clean UI and a strong UX across a group of mobile devices. The amount of content will almost be the same; maybe content and images can be hidden until user requests them for speed of download. Use of geolocation was used to identify monuments/sculptures to coffee shops, trees and so on.
