22 year-old composer and musician based in Belfast. I specialised in composition under Evangelia Rigaki while studying a BA (Hons) in Music at Trinity College Dublin, finishing with First Class Honours and the Gerard Victory Prize for Composition. I have composed for 2 short films: Curiosity Pilled the Cat (2016), and NATHIFA (2016), which was chosen for Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner in 2016, and sound designed for one: Frenemies (2016). In 2016/17, I am undertaking an MRes in Composition at Queen’s University Belfast under Simon Mawhinney, exploring and questioning genrefication (specifically the conceptual barriers between classical/contemporary and popular music) through my composition. I am looking for freelance work while studying, in the form of commissions, film/tv music, music journalism, sound design, and arranging.
