Managed and completed vital long-term station project, overhauling audio paths from analogue to digital, which was awarded Best Technical Achievement at 2016 SRA Awards. Event planning and running, including multi-site Outside Broadcast from 2014 Tour de France Yorkshire stage, with start line interviews, and on location updates from around the city. Increased team membership tenfold, through targeted advertisement, leading to increased team efficiency, and role tailoring to members. interests and skills.
Awarded for the creation of Biscuit News, a semi-satirical news show based around real world biscuit events and stories, featuring a live comedy radio play, "The Bourbons", including live biscuit based Foley. The Kevin Greening award is an additional award assessing entrants of all other categories to reward students that had displayed new and innovative radio.
Awarded for Beat the Buzz, a station wide technical overhaul of audio infrastructure, converting the station from analogue to digital systems. The project allowed us to eradicate a significant audio hum that had plagued the station output, as well as improve ease of studio use.
