About me
Adam&Co. is a multi-disciplinary creative studio specializing in brand identity, art direction and design. Led by award-winning Creative Director Adam Larson, the studio collaborates with a wide range of arts, entertainment, and lifestyle clients to create tailored design solutions and authentic brand experiences. Whether working directly with clients or in partnership with other creatives and agencies, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh, intelligent work that gracefully articulates a brand’s unique story, and connects with their desired audience.
Projects
  • Rihanna for Puma
    Rihanna for PumaCampaign art direction for Rihanna’s second collection of the Creeper for her FENTY by Rihanna line with Puma. We worked with photographer Mitch Feinberg to create a campaign teasing the drop of the new collection. We created a series of images that illustrate the individual styles landing on different surfaces with disruptive impact. The collection sold out online within 35 minutes.
  • Banyan Bar + Refuge Identity
    Banyan Bar + Refuge IdentityAdam&Co. worked with The Gallows Group to develop the identity for their newest venture, Banyan Bar & Refuge. Banyan is a modern Asian gastropub located in Boston’s South End. The space boasts a large outdoor patio sheltered by the branches of nearby trees which inspired the concept. For the identity we created a rustic modern vibe that reflects chef Phil Tang’s approach to the food.
  • Alps & Meters Identity
    Alps & Meters IdentityAlps & Meters is a new brand inspired by authentic alpine sport with a design philosophy set on fusing traditional garment construction methods with natural materials and contemporary technologies. We designed a modern emblem for the brand that was also inspired by vintage iconography. By stacking an abstract “A” and “M” a mountain peak was formed with the center shape revealing a diamond. We paired it with a modern sans serif typeface for legibility and a sense of timelessness.
  • Gem Club, In Roses
    Gem Club, In RosesAdamnCo. collaborated with photographer Heather McGrath to create a set of limited-edition postcards for Boston-based trio Gem Club’s third album titled In Roses. Each postcard contained an image representing a different song from the album. It was packaged with the album for those fans who pre-ordered the record. Adam&Co. also designed posters for Gem Club’s special performances at the MFA in Boston and a private show at our studio during an exhibition of the images.
  • New Balance Omni Launch Campaign
    New Balance Omni Launch CampaignLaunch campaign for a new breed of shoe by New Balance called Omni, a hybrid that merges classic NB lifestyle shoes with elements of performance. Designed with a modern urban lifestyle in mind, the campaign was meant to create a sense of motion and style, while working within the new brand look and feel. Assets were developed to work at retail and online.
  • Llanllyr Source Water Identity and Packaging Redesign
    Llanllyr Source Water Identity and Packaging RedesignSince 1180, the organically farmed fields of Llanllyr, Wales has been producing near perfect natural spring water. In 1999, a member of the same family who had been farming the land for over 300 years started bottling and distributing the water under the brand name Llanllyr Source. Source quickly became recognized by the world’s leading hotels, sommeliers, and chefs as one of the most perfectly balanced, purist tasting natural spring waters. Source hired Adam&Co., in partnership with Adned, to contemporize the brand. Our goal was to better tell the brand’s rich history to a modern audience, re-establish the brand’s luxury positioning, and to introduce a new line of flavored mixers based on the same brand name. This came to life through a new brand strategy, brand identity, messaging and packaging. The location and history are key to the brand’s story which we communicated through the use of a map texture and consistent use of the words “Since 1180.”
