During my time at University I kept myself focused on forging a successful career in media, combining my studies with industry work experience showing myself to be organised and that I thrive under pressure. I am a hugely adaptable 2:1 Film degree graduate that is enthusiastic to get to work in both an exciting and challenging environment - utilising my skill in both practical and theoretical approaches to work, either under my own guise or working as a team. In short, I am creative, trustworthy, particular to detail and very keen to learn more in the world of media.

  • Across a 12 week internship sponsored by Santander, I was solely responsible to create digital content for the Lothian Autistic Society website and various social media pages. Responsibilities included filming interviews with service users, creating After Effect based short animations around their “10 Things” campaign, video packages of the services provided, photography work to support funding applications and doing so in a manner that gave the charity it’s own digital identity. As a representative of the society I was also responsible to meet with funders such as Children In Need and present my content to secure further financial investment.

  • Working with online marketing company Tandem Digital, I created an advert for their client FirstCall Home Assist for use on the homepage for their website until 31st March 2015. Utilising my ability in video production, the video shows my skill in clip editing, narrating, design, choosing soundtrack and creation of original content. The quirky/eye catching style of the video shows my creativity and focus to detail to stand out from the crowd. The makings of the ad between marketing executives and company representatives also meant the project had a huge focus on teamwork and clear communication between all parties involved.
