  Newsflare - ice Cream Seller Karaoke BoothI created this Video Journalism piece through submitted video content, using adobe premiere and After Effects. The story was written and the told through the lower third text, animated through After Effects.
• NewsflareA Video journalism piece, creating the story based on a submitted video about a whale perishing after consuming 80 plastic bags. I used lower 3rd titles to tell the story and edited different sections of the videos together with accompanying photos.
• Reflectly App Ad 2An Instagram add created for danish startup company Reflectly. I screen recorded footage and combined it with motion graphics and dynamic text to create a final Instagram ad in 9:16 for a mobile audience.
• Reflectly App Instagram AdUsing Adobe After Effects I screen recorded sections of the app and used them as the base to form the ad, building motion graphics and text around it to finalise the video. This video was edited to a ratio of 9:16, for a mobile audience.
• Link 3 app - Facebook adA 1:1 square ad for an app called Link 3 to promote themselves on social media.

A creative media production course combining video, sound and interactive multimedia; initially these are treated as separate subject areas, allowing production experience in each area; as students progress through the course they are encouraged to look at the ways in which different media forms relate and feed into each other; this interrelation is a crucial part of the course, and is designed to prepare students for working in an industry with rapidly converging technologies; the course is divided into approximately 60% practical work and 40% theory. The course is production-based, enabling students to build strong story-telling, technical and team-working skills essential to working in the professional media. Creative practice is informed by academic study developing students' understanding of media cultures and contexts.
